Just acquired another 246B, only cost me £15. It's not in the greatest condition but I think it will fettle up nice. I will post some piccy's when it's done.

It will come up nicely with care and a bit of elbow grease, (tried to find a tub of that on Amazon... Oh there's some.))

I always restore my old lamps, paint, polish, as if out of the shop rather than keep them all rusty and full of what a lot of people call patina (most don't even know what patina is let alone pronounce it correctly.)

if it was a rare lamp that would be another story, but me finding a rare lamp is...

    Rare!

It's a Tilley, Just gave it a clean and it's come up ok. I have given the cage a good brush and primed it, can't make my mind up what colour to paint it, any one got any suggestions ? Well here are some photo's First one is as it is, second one the money shot. Not bad for £15

Wow that looks excellent, great work, and maybe black bail would really look great with the gold. Or this colour

Well, for £15 you could pick up any amount of 2nd hand cages and spray different colours........... and ...'Go Compaaarrrre!':)
