An Optimus 930 brass. Have been looking for one for quite some time and finally found one. Fun to renovate. Unfortunately with a crack in the glass but must have something to hunt as well.

Thanks! Yes of course, just chasing a new glass first. Will probably be a newly manufactured larger cup glass.

@Krisse what a beautiful lantern! Well restored, too!:D/I have a 930 but it is not all bare brass, it's plated. Mine tends to run hot. No matter what I do with it. Still, they are rather attractive and especially your all brass example. Hope you can find a glass.

Thanks! I have some in nickel too. 930 is running hot. The tank can get quite hot. They are designed that way. Is probably the secret why they shine so brightly

I love the 930. I did briefly own one some years ago but sold it on. Got to eat after all.

Could you tell me about those? I see the photo obviously but wonder what prompts its use in place of the stock item. An attractive alternative globe for the indoor domestic setting, frosted to cut down glare?

Of course, I think I have all of Foga's accessories in my head ;) Hytta.de has original cupped glass but I want half frosted and they do not grow on trees  But managed to get the last large glass on Ebay. No cheap glass but think the lamp will be nice with the large glass :)

But it was a long delivery time due to Corona.

Exactly, think the lamp will be nice with the big glass. But then it gets to shine in the living room :)
