    Just finished restoration work on a Coleman hood, stripped and re enamelled in green.     Wow, that looks perfect again. Do you know what caused the original damage? It's a strange wear pattern that doesn't seem to make sense.

    No idea what caused wear pattern, I see all sorts of things I have to restore, rusted out one's are the worst as they become too thin.

    Looks to be a sand or media blast removal ? Or perhaps a secret formula? :)

    My question would be how do you manage to colour match to an old hood/ventilator ? Lots of test pieces?
    There is more than a hint of alchemy about it all...hum

    Those hoods certainly look like new. Great job. Where did you get the frits from? Or did you make them as well?
