Just got a Nulite lantern, no where on the lantern state a Nulite product, I just identify it based on the umbrella on the generator. Looks like a very early 5M model, maybe manufactured before 1920? The only words I found is the one on the umbrella, I only could identify first 3 letters are PAT Any help would be appreciate to date the lantern and confirm the model. Thanks!
Seems very close to this 5M in library Same angles air tube, same mounting structure for mixing chamber and burners. I suspect the date should before 1922 since the Patent Number or date is not engraved on the umbrella yet. Also the fount of mine is all steel construction, magnet sticks. Nulite 5M
US patent 1415180 Applied for 22 Sep 1920 and granted 9 May 1922. It is a match lighting generator so the Model will be 5M as you say and most likely 1920 to 1922. ::Neil::
