Hi, I am new to this and have recent came across two lamps that I don’t know much about but have been advised to come onto this site for some advise. Any information is welcome, I am not sure if I should sell these? Or is it worth keeping hold of these?
I would keep both of those, if it were me. And they are repairable, and not so hard to get working again. The site policy is not to give valuations, but I’m sure there a people here willing to take them off your hands. Best regards, Tony

May be worth tracing back who electrified them and asking if they had the missing bits as the bits are not easily found
Detailed photos of each will make it easy for model ID. Depending on where you are in the UK, someone might pop up and say they’ll restore them for you. As there are no Tilley service agents anymore, these restorations are done by skilled amateurs. Cheers Tony
Welcome, Those appear to be OL50’s; although there are a couple of different model numbers. With a straight through chimney flue hopefully the electrification hasn’t caused too much harm and with the correct parts should be able to burn on kerosene without too much trouble. thank you, John
Well that depends on you - are you a collector or a dealer/trader? If you're the former then keep them and try to bring them back to the correct, paraffin operation. Being new to this, that may be beyond you at this stage because they've been electrified and/or parts are missing. These won't be that easy to find although with patience, you'll probably get there in the end. If you're a dealer/trader, flog 'em - there'll be plenty here who'll be willing to pay for them as projects or parts...
They are both OL50 or 51. Easy enough to check OL50 has a 14 inch dia reflector and OL51 is 16 inch. ::Neil::
