Testing a new Tilley-style mantle…

Finding good mantles is becoming more difficult, but I’ve found a very good double-tie Tilley-style mantle.

It is large, with strong string ties.

This is the first one I’ve used, tested on a burner and gallery from a KL80.

Nice and bright,is it thorium coated.

 

It’s very bright (with white light). I’ll have to find a Geiger counter.
