    Morning,

Busy with a neglected 201 - Wichita 7/81. Frame cleaned up much better than expected except for the small pit marks left after rust removal. The collar is corroded on the edges and i cleaned it up as best as i can without destroying the print. Fount rusted with about 30% of the paint missing. Still looking for paint of a suitable color in this neck of the woods.

Living in a high humidity area i know i cannot leave the steel as is. In no time the rust will be back and i am loather to paint the frame. Apart from plating the frame again are there any other options?

I bought a Stainless steel frame for my 201, it looks like chrome but its polished stainless steel and cost me $28 plus almost as much in postage from America, I cant see it being much more to your country.

Burner Frame Stainless - R350, from Old Coleman Parts. its for the 200 or the 201. It's really good quality and you will never have to worry about rust again.
    worth thinking about.

Oil or a good quality bees wax will help but it won't stop the rust from coming back.
