    A late 1960’s rarity from Campingaz, here making use of its ground spike.

    Lumogaz-pattern components. The sprung-loaded piston and control spindle O-ring seals had age hardened and were replaced. The ‘dome’ seal mating with the gas cartridge was in good condition.

    Designed to take either a C400 or two C200 pierceable gas cartridges.

    It's most likely an Autobianchi Primula, manufactured from 1964 to 1970. Nice car!
    Nice lantern also, BTW!

    @Martin K.
    You’ve surely nailed it with the identification of the car Martin. Thank you.

    Interesting reading up about it, a front-wheel-drive layout by the parent company Fiat without endangering their brand were it to fail, which it evidently didn’t.

    It’ll combine well, sixties-style, with this Primus butane stove. Newark and Ashover, I’ll be cutting quite a dash!

    That's a belter, John!

    Also nice to see the rather unloved Primus 2222 in good hands and being used. I've got 1-2 of them around here but can't recall ever lighting it/them. We seem to have similar tastes when it comes to the weird stuff!!

    We’ve remarked on that before, David. Dexagas and unloved gassies generally I think we’ve said!
