I was wondering if the Tilley E. X 4 had a decal but I cant find a reference or picture of one.
Does any one have an example?

I'm looking at 9 EX4s with original paint and none show any sign of a decal.

Thanks @podbros but I was looking for an actual decal or paperwork showing a lantern with a decal.

Thanks @Anthony I think that 9 plus what's in the Reference gallery strongly suggests they didn't have one.

If someone does have one, it would be nice to see.

I wonder when Tilley did start using a decal on things?

I expect you are thinking decals showing the model numbers @podbros but the FL4s had the plated badges, IL33 and OL48 and IL48 had the shields.
Decal with model, maybe AL15. AL21 perhaps. There are likely to be some models that stated without decals.

You may still find an EX4 with a decal @ROBBO55.

    Thanks @Darryl Durdin @Tony Press
Its looking unlikely that the E.X 4 had a decal.

    It does raise the question.
In this case the E.x 4 (1936-1940) looks unlikely to have had one but the E.x 100 (1940-1946) did.
