Fama was a factory set up in Porto Portugal in 1940 by a Swedish company. From the style I suspect that might have been Optimus. They were taken over by Hipolito in 1956 and it is possible that for some years afterwards Hipolito sold Fama brand lanterns. Some of these also appear branded Feuerhand or Lanterne. ::Neil::
