Small light up of British lanterns

Hello,

I have 3 Tilleys, 1 Vapalux and 1 Bialaddin.

I decided to light then up. Enjoy.

I think I will have a beer this weekend plus I may light up a few more of my kerosene/paraffin lanterns.

 

Put them in a circle on the deck and sit in the middle and see what mystic powers come ....... or is that just the effect of the fumes

 

... or the beer...

 

Would that be Boags or Cascade ? It's a North-South thing in Tasmania is it not. Do you still have those quaint little betting shops or are they a thing of the past ? The betting shops were around when I was down there in the early70's

The North-South, Boags-Cascade thing has drifted away a bit over the last 20 years. Both companies now owned by big brewing giants.

The quaint little betting shops are all gone, too, as pubs now have licences to have pokies and betting (thereby ruining the pub!).
