Yes, the Coleman was bright but sadly I broke the mantle of the Coleman 200A I bring with me and the AL15 refused to start. I tested all of them at home a couple of hours before, but this is what happens with old things. Even my Land Rover series I didn't want to go to the appointment: just 3 cilynders started and I had to go there with a friend. The one on the picture, and mine too, is a 1957 Series I. Juan
I like those early Land-Rovers, they don’t make them like they used to, no frills just built for business.
These old Series I are nice but you need to know a mechanic who is willing to take the time and to leave other more profitable works: they fix new cars in little time with a scanner and replacing available spare parts. Here is not easy to find parts for them (for the engine neither in England) and I had (no one forced me) to buy a second one to have parts from the body, like spare wheel holder, tropical roof, etc. So, they are nice but you need much time and more money than you need for lamps!!!!
