Yes, that was my point - thus probably "a nice evening outdoors" is less likely. On the other hand, I suppose it's exactly where in Australia we're talking about. In any case, their deepest winter is probably like high summer over here, especially in GL...
Best way to think of it - in the southern part of Australia at this time of year you would need to keep the Newcastle Brown ale indoors at night or it would be too cold. In northern Australia you would need to time getting it out of the Eskie properly, perhaps 20 minutes before you want to drink it, so it had warmed up, but not too much. Does that help?
I’m quite partial to Tooheys Old. It’s a black beer and as most beers are, very morish. It can be consumed summer and winter .... in fact, I’m gunna had one or three tonight
