    The FL6 gives a good light, just be aware that the glass stays hot for a long time. Nice to see it working

    Thanks folks. It was certainly giving out some light. As there is no light pollution where I live, it lit the other side of the valley! My brother was truly impressed!
    One pre heat wasn’t quite enough, or perhaps I got the position of the pre heater on the vaporiser wrong? Having said that, once heated fully it burst in to life without hesitation.
    My other FL6 really needs a re-paint, though the temptation to get both fired up together is winning over. Just need some more paraffin......

    Two preheats or a spirit cup with felt or wick in it, fitted over the vapouriser, is my recommendation for the FL6, SL1 etc.
