Kate, why does the picture of a Tilley dipstick excite you - am I missing something here?

Honestly, I had no idea how the dipstick worked and had never seen one. This explains it

 

These Tilley dipsticks are getting scarce. If you find one, go for it.

I was digging in the garden the other day, Pete, and unearthed a Tilley dipstick - we're tripping over them here, man!

(Actually, I think it must have been one of mine that I lost a few years ago... )
