petromax 834 help

HI everyone i am trying to find someone who could point me in the direction to getting a preheater or one made for my pretromax 834.

A rare piece here in Germany.

But fo the 835, you can get new produced.

 

If you are not too concerned about appearance I made one out of a tin can for my Hasag.

Incidentally, the air holes drilled in the sides were a bad idea and not necessary.

 

Hi james thanks for the idear about a can i will give it a go, I have been using a blow lamp to start it.

HI karli i found i could get the pre heater for the 835 but not the 834.
I am also looking for a spare glass for the 835 do you have any idear where to get from.
I can get the glass for 834 from pelam but not 835.
