1955 Coleman 202 "The professional"

    This is the Coleman 202 ( called the professional") this model returned to the brass fount ( some having steel bottom and some having brass bottom ) but this is not all, the frame and the collar are made out of stainless steel.
    The Professional was manufactured between 1954 to 1964.

    This particular one was made in 1955.

    Yes good looking, but the stainless steel frames do crack, and i have seen them commin' on mine too, :?

    Seriously, it’s a nice looking lantern and it’s now on my “to be hunted and get list”

    @Haggis you found a beauty, a good find and it looks to be in good nick too. It won’t take a lot to clean her up.
    I’m just a little bit jealous :mrgreen:
    I now have the 202 firmly on my radar.

    I just found the same, a 5-55 202 yesterday. It came with a thick layer of dust, and now I know why it is so clean under the grime. Can't wait to clean and polish it.
