A couple of old lanterns

    A couple of old lanterns glowing again,,, A 1924 QL327, and a 1928 L220,,,

    (The KampKook #3 stove runs like a champ as well)

    Really like those old Quick-Lite lanterns. There's just something about them that says, "Let's go camping!" The L220 is a nice find, too!

    Yes, those old Quick-Lite's are about as good as a lantern gets. Always easy to get going due to the few parts involved. So simple and straight-forward, but yet elegant.
    One of my absolute favourites.
    I see that you use a pump meant for the irons.
    Nothing wrong with that! More handy, and the few extra strokes you will have to make are nothing to talk about.

    I have several of these old pumps,,, this one works very well and was handy. And no, I don’t mind a few extra pumps,,, perhaps even at that it will take fewer pumps than on those lanterns with the pump built in...
