That's a nice tidy example. Is the red undercoat or top coat? I've heard there are some very good 'chrome' spray paints that almost look like the real thing.

That colour scheme looks rather fetching! I'm often 'at sea' when it comes to cage colour...silvers often look too false, gold pretentious, black too obvious...lol

Actually, the frame is very likely to be brass, not steel! I only just realised.

 

The screws are in brass , the frame are made of steel.
