First, Thanks Dan for offering them here and for such an easy purchase.....I’m very pleased with the lamp....it’s a tank !!!!!
What can you buy today that will truly last a lifetime......I’m betting this will.
    I added a Coleman porcelain shade ( I can’t break it ! )
Waiting for nighttime to light it.

Thank you very much for your business. I love having a working relationship with HC Lanterns.

The Firefly Lantern is my indoor lantern of choice. It sits in our Living Room filled with Denatured Alcohol ready for the next fluke power outage and it gets many compliments.

I really like the porcelain shade you have added to yours, very kewl!

Just by chance - did you look inside the fount? The construction will blow your mind!

    Fair Winds,

    Capt. Dan

Wonderful lamps love those tanks, as unique as the Pork Pie. Yours have made me mentally list one for future purchase in the winter.

The Firefly and Lightning Bug are current production lamp and lantern. HC Lanterns is a Amish Lighting Company in Pennsylvania providing a wide array of off grid lighting , propane, Led, kerosene to the Amish community and general public. I think the Firefly was first produced in 2018 or thereabouts. The steel tanks for the both lamp and lantern were the new innovations for HC. Previously they used Coleman founts for the lantern and Leacock lamp founts. Lamp and Lantern sell for about 330 USD.

Its beautiful and it ain't cheap. Too bad we don't have an Amish community or equivalent in my area.
Most of the nation's population have switched over to LED. Even fluorescent tubes and ballasts are getting rarer these days.

"Most of the nation's population have switched over to LED."

That is happening apparently in the Amish communities as well , that LED use has spread .

The really great thing about the Amish Lantern companies, Lancaster Lanterns and HC Lanterns is that they are retail establishments like lighting companies of the past. You can call them, email or visit the store for all your off grid lighting needs. They modify LED, gas, propane and kerosene lighting systems for sale to the Amish or anyone. They are first class businesses offering great service ,I can testify to that.

    Hi Darryl,
Did you get that one from Vic. It looks like the one he got from me, with that decal on it. The name Lightning Bug is the name I gave HC when he was looking for a name for it and the Fire Fly. I hate that Vic is no longer with us.

@Gerald K4NHN , hi there, I bought my fire fly and lightning bug from HC lanterns seen it on the dreaded eBay. They are very well made quality lanterns
I miss Vic, we were modern day pen pals. Never called or spoke to him in person, just emailed and discussed lanterneering, family and friends, common interest in firearms. He was my silent mentor,
