Thanks to HV @MrAlexxx I am now the proud owner of this nice 242/B. (The globe is borrowed from my 200A) It needed an overhaul (cleaning tank, generator, new seal etc) and some elbow grease, but apart from that - No problems. Its going to look nice beside my 247/Scout. Thank you Alex, I am indeed gratefull for your generousity in helping me here!

Harder...it turned out really nice! That is about as shiny as one could ever expect for a lantern over 70 years old. A really good example. Enjoy it. Alex
I'd reckon that's one of Coleman's best mades even though I don't have one. I'll have to admit that nothing beats elbow grease when it comes to restoring old items.
