Hi fellas, can someone point me in the right direction. I have a petromax baby that needs a new pricker rod and pricker,
I hane looked through the gallery for reference and some great information, is there a site where i can get the parts i need, or is there alternative parts, or if i could have a detailed picture with what the rod should look like in lenght and diameter of the rod, i can find prickers and jet from eBay, will the 250 cp do the job, open to discussions / help, i may be able to make it
Thanks fellas and have a Merry Xmas

The pricker rod might be hard to find. You might try shortening one meant for a 300/350cp lantern.
For the rest, some substitutes from Taiwan might work, OHO for example:
OHO 1S Jet for 200CP Pressure Lantern - Optimus Radius Petromax for sale online

Note: sometimes the threads might be slightly different and do make the exact fit. But that was probably my luck on those.
I find the 250cp jet a little too large for a 200cp Petromax lantern. It'll burn rich, possibly due to a mismatch to the somewhat smaller and shorter mixing tube. I had to actually peen around the jet orifice to make slightly smaller so that it burns right.
I'd get the 150cp rated parts as well, just in case.

If it is a 250cp version parts would not be difficult.
The little bay 100hk however is a pain in the wallet.
    So pictures please !

I'd guess yours would be the 200cp version if its stated "Baby" Petromax ;821. The 250cp Petromax 821 comes later and not stamped with the word "Baby".

Your Baby Petromax with the one piece vaporiser is a very good find, Darryl! The needle and jet from an Optimus 200 will fit and work correctly. You may need to adjust the length of the conducting rod+eccentric block so that only about 0.5mm of the pricker needle protrudes from the jet when in the up position.
Try to make the vaporiser and conducting rod as straight as possible so that the conducting rod floats/moves freely sideways in the vaporiser tube. That way the pricker needle will be able to center itself in the jet and will not bend or break.
