Christmas lamp

After a very big Christmas dinner time to settle down behind my Primus 1022 and with a glass of wine to hand, nod off.

Anyone else have a special lamp running tonight.

Just finished the first round of Christmas dinner preparations so it's now time to sit down with a beer while the wife takes over and preps the remaining vegetables.

That's a beautiful lamp.

 

This was just something to mess about with.
I was given some extra large tea lights and so an old feuer hand glass and some bits of lead made this.
It takes in air at the base and seems pretty immune to draughts. It was something to do.

I do have a lamp lit, but it's just one of my hybrid lamps, it works well though.

 

After a eurika moment when I realised the wire that holds the cork on a bottle of sparkling wine is perfect for unblocking a clogged generator, my Christmas lamp is my trusty guardsmen.
