Well, who’s been a good boy then?
Nice present, you sure it didn’t have my name on it?

Looking at the vertical air vent holes in the bottom of the globe cage, I wonder how many variations there are ?
I only have seen, as far as I remember, small round holes there.

I don't believe in Santa, no fancy lamps om my doorstep this year.
By the way, anyone that knows if there is replacement globes for px882?
I have one missing that part for 20 years or more.

Just a thought, but the Coleman Northstar globe might look close maybe?

You are not the only one.
But someone with an original globe must share dimensions and shape before reproductions can be made.

Nope, if you look close enough you see that the bottom of the gobe must have an inward rim, flange. Two static and one rotating "hook", catch, will keep it then in place.

I’m in the market for one of those globes, too.

That’s a fine lamp, James. I’d love to see it running.

Can you post some photos of the globe showing the top and bottom and dimensions?

    Cheers

    Tony

Thanks for the effort but it is of not much use.

On the hytta petromax forum there was a test using a globe and measuring tape which a client sended to the shop owner. Twice He got a wrong glass due to the working of perspective distortion.
    Sorry.
