Shipped my First 316 arc tribute lantern

    well one day short of a year from the day I started this project to build reproduction Coleman Arc Lantern tributes I shipped my first one--- the new owner was very pleased and sent me a picture of my lantern next to an original he has!~~ in the picture its almost impossible to tell the difference-- but up close you can see the variations so it cant be mis-represnted as an original and sold as such-- ! you eagle eye guys take a guess ! :-)

    Good workmanship !
    I have no knowledge of coleman but based on the shininess I vote for left is the copy..

    Hard to see in the picture but the left lantern appears to have a CQ fount.
    Interesting endeavor, more pictures would be interesting.

    correct! its the one on the left ~ its a cq font and 3/8s of an inch taller than original-- this is one of a series of ten I am doing-- the next set of ten will be slightly different that the first ten
