Cage for Tilley Pig Heater?

    Quick query...
    Can an R1 radiator cage be used on a Tilley pig heater?

    First I thought, yes, them I thought no.
    The R1 is actually the same size as the pig heater. :)

    Piglets or other recently born/hatched small farm animals - chicks and what have you...

    An R-1 wire guard can be stretched to fit the larger Tilley reflector and the link below shows that.

    1955 circa, R55.

    I think it depends on which type of pig-heater you're referring to, Bill. The earlier IF54 was fitted with an inverted R1 radiator. The IF542 was fitted with the larger reflector...
