Lantern identification

    Can anyone help me identify the lantern in the picture. It is the only image I have so I cannot offer more images.

    Going by the shape of the tank it would be a bialaddin 300x

    If you have found that lamp in DK the cage, burner and hood is a Vapalux mounted to a Bialaddin tank.
    They were used in the army that way and I have never seen them with the real Vapalux tank which is more square or having "shoulders" if you like.
    They were also always marooned.

    Looks like an early Vapalux 300X, nice with it having the pressure tit. Is the hood marked at all?

    Reviewing the post he mentioned finding them in an army surplus place in Denmark...
    I think we all assumed that they were just more "bitzas"- looks like they left the factory like that after all!
