G with E was used until late 1953.
Could you show the whole lamp?
    Would be easier to judge.

Tom, the left lamp is an early post war Px with vertical air slots collar.
350 or 500 cp is marked on the label. The photo is not clear.
From its shape and size the right lamp could be a 300 cp lamp,
but which brand? Have a look at the fount and tell us, please.

    Hi
Unfortunately, the mark on the lamp has disappeared.
On the small lamp there are 2 screws at the top, is it original or something possibly added during a repair.

The two screws top is original, no repair.
When disassembling the lamp, may be some
    other brand hints appear.
Or compare with examples in the Reference Gallery.

Have let me tell you that the petromax with E was only manufactured for export, have others heard the same?

Depends on what E yu are referring too.
The monogram of the factory owners was Ehrich&Graetz or EG, E within the G.
During the war under pressure of the governement is was changed to only G, Emil Ehrich was a jew.
After the war the Graetz brothers started again with only the G as for Graetz. They made lanterns but aslo and mainly electro technical devices such as radio's, geiger counters, coffee machines, irions as well as caburateurs for motor cycles.

The one on the right would be the older of the two. That should be the one with the E within the G in the logo. Pre-WWII. Probably 1930s. This might have some numbers scratched under the fount.(widely believed to be date of manufacture).
The one on the left is not a late model too. I'd say between very late 1940s to early 1950s. Might have scratched numbers also under the fount.

Is that '826' a stamped number on the fount? If so, that would be the model number for the Petromax, not the date.
The likely dates were normally hand-scratched at the bottom of the fount's baseplate.

Hey. A little more information, and a few pictures. There are 2 logos on the lamp above the Petromax logo, one on the right and one on the left, and they are similar, as in the photo

The two round logos belong to Ehrich und Graetz AG of Germany, the company responsible for the manufacture of these lanterns. 'Petromax' is merely a trade name.
