A closer match for the Bialaddin/Vapalux burgundy colour.

    I've found this...

    I wouldn't have thought of looking at the paint too closely because of the name 'Chestnut' but I'm glad I did because it's extremely close to the original paint colour.

    Yes, notwithstanding the vagaries of colour reproduction and transmission via various media, the aerosol cap colour looks very close to the W&B paint colour and 'Chestnut' is a deep rich brown - a bit like the colour of chestnuts, oddly enough - nothing at all like maroon or whatever it is on the tanks... :whistle: ](*,)

    I've been given a Bialaddin 300 with a brass hood and very badly peeling paint. If the colour on the can lid is close to the real thing it should be really close...

    I know some collectors don't like repainting founts but the original paint really is in a pretty bad state...
