http://0flo.com/index.php?threads/1289 NICE Bob! Mine is dirty and has a dent plus the nickle is probably shot, got it cheap. Cant find any markings on it but is the same as the link. valves seem to work and has Q99 generators. they had Coleman table lamp for $20 but the tank bottom had a scary solder gob dead center on the nut. No pic's till computer decides it knows my camera again. :x

Here it is after a little elbow grease. I got shut down by the L.W. due to polish fumes.

Hello, you mentioned that a Coleman table lamp was available, but you were not keen on the fact that there was solder around the nut, if it was a CQ., then they all have that.

The PQ., which you have shown here, turns up now and then, but I would not say that they are common.

The hanging rod on yours is missing it's nickel plated brass cover, the link below shows examples of this lamp which have that cover.

Finding a cover would be difficult, but the rod could be cleaned up and painted so that it matches the lamp, it's an idea anyway, Jeff.

I thought something was fishy about the cover tube on this. It is light weight steel with a spiral seam. maybe a cost saving option? Actually the table lamp was at the next place i stopped and was $20, four more than what the PQ cost! I just saw part of the PQ sticking out from under table across the room. It didn't seem like much but thought i better check it on the way out. Couldn't believe it! Then the tag had a smudgy $16, that couldn't be right. Will be heading back tomorrow and really look them over as i was short on time.

The hanging rod is the correct one, but the cover is missing, Jeff.

Jeff there is a cover, just ugly rusty tin one. On it in first pic & laying next to lamp in bottom pic. Karli, looks like you need a right-angle pump

Thanks for pointing out the cover, because it's so rusty, I thought that only the hanging rod was there!

    It will clean up okay.

I removed the cover from the hanging rod on my PQ., and I had a close look at it and tested it with a magnet, the cover is made of plated brass.

I recall the late Herb Ebendorf (Coleman Historian) saying that Coleman used other metals for covers during the first world war and for a while after the war ended. Jeff.
