I've got these 2 and don't really know where to start! I'm very keen to restore them.

Is that a Veritas 350A on the right, as in the angled pump model? Thank you for any and all advice.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Im no expert but the second photographed lantern has a Preston loop vaporiser which is not a feature of Veritas. An example or the Veritas vaporiser and burnet assembly can be seen here: https://classicpressurelamps.com/attachments/dsc09628-jpg.73439/

I’m sure someone will be along soon to either correct me or identify your mystery lantern.

    Regards Jeremy

We all started as newbies at sometime!

I should have mentioned the mystery lamp looks sort of Primus/Optimus ilk to me. Worth a look in the reference gallery.

The second photo is an Australian Aladdin 1A. As is obvious, it is missing the complete top. These are fairly plentiful in Australia, so it shouldn't be too hard to find parts.

Told you I wasn’t an expert and someone more knowledgeable would correct me. Thanks @Nils Stephenson.
