Coleman 214A. Easy to start, super bright. Just the thing on an early spring London lockdown evening. Best wishes to all around the world and keep safe!

Hah! Good spot! Its gin&tonic, I'd usually have a beer but with the lockdown I'm having to order direct from brewery. Got a couple of 5ltr kegs here but they are settling right now, be ready Friday. All going ok down there?

Great looking lantern! What are the two screws from?

    Stay safe and sane.

Ha...good spot! Screws not from a lantern as such, from repositioning a security light. I usually avoid any left over parts when resembling a fettling project!

Safety....I'm sure we're all doing the right thing

Sanity - very little to start with so no change there!

    Best wishes to all

    Jamie

I have one of these lamps, really bright and reliable. Only downfall I find is the low tank capacity, but a great little lamp that you don’t see very often.

Cold? As our Swedish cousins would say there is no bad weather, just inappropriate clothing....

I like it, was quite a search to find a kerosene Coleman. It feels very refined after working with Tilley lamps...and very bright! It "roars" somewhat rather than the gentle, soporific hiss of a Tilley but it is a breeze to get going.

All good in Aussie. We’re under lockdown and it has been great to get all those jobs around the home done.
I like a tipple called Tooheys Old. It’s a black beer, very moorish, which creates a problem on its own.

When I lived in Sydney in the late 80s I used to enjoy a Resches DA. One of my favourites!

Yes, that’s not a bad drop, not bad at all. I haven’t had a go a it for quite a while though.
