First version Coleman 214-700

This was one of the first Coleman 214 lanterns I got.

 

Hi @Andrew T, is this version with the heat shield?
That is also my favorite lantern, a little bit finicky but a good performer too :-)

They did not have a heat shield. The only one I have with a heat shield was the later 1999 model.
The one above was made in 1984 or 1985.

 

@Andrew T These are a great little performer. I have one, too but I can't remember the date. Think I still have the box, too.
