    @Lighthouse Good eyes! Yes, my son painted it for me about 15-20 years ago! I think I should have left it unpainted...
    When I got this lantern it was a real "basket case", it had what appeared to be the original glass, but it was missing one of the air intake tubes and really needed a lot of TLC. Also found some others parts, NRV and lower part of the burner assembly. I fell in love with this lantern and looked for years before I finally found all the parts I needed and the restoration begun. Real "labour of love"!

    @george

    Has the hemp oil helped your arthritis?

    @Matty It helped for while but then it just stopped... They put me on prednisone now. Will see what happens. They "think" it's possibly psoriatic arthritis but not sure.

    It will help. Steroid drugs are remarkable in how much they can help treat the conditions they are aimed at. The biggest problem is side effects. You should monitor yourself and report any side effects to your Dr. I'm sure you know that, I'm just speaking from experience.

    I'm hoping the Prednisone is a huge success for you with only minor side effects.

    @Matty Thanks, I'm hoping something works... Getting tired of setting around in pain all day.
