    I'd love one too.

But one as in nice condition as this one, is worth gold over here.
Literally, it would take about an ounce to buy one.

Looking forward to seeing it in its full glory.

On Saturday I had time to complete the lantern.

I built a new bracket, completed the lantern, filled gas, mounted two mantles and started her.
    Totally unspectacular starting procedure.

There's no need to be confused, Mr O - despite appearances, these are ordinary pressure lamps and work in exactly the same way as the rest of them do.

As far as I'm aware, Arc (with a 'c'!) is just a name - they're not like electric arc lamps which work on a completely different principle altogether...

From what I've heard, Coleman chose the name 'Arc' as the brightest light around at the time was an electric arc lamp.
