I have this 220D as well as two other 220 lanterns that have issues with no fuel being able to reach the burner. So obviously my first step was to see if the was fuel getting to the generator. There was but the generator seemed to be blocking it, so I bought new generators. I’m sitting here with three lanterns that still don’t work. Can anybody help me?

You say fuel is getting to generator...how did you check that? Did you remove generator and open valve?. Fuel comes up from tank into valve then generator. You can remove generator tip to see if fuel is getting through to the jet (tip). Just the logical way of checking.

Yes, I removed the generator and the fuel was coming out. I took it apart and know there is fuel going through the new generator.

Going through the generator...but is it coming out the jet?...the jet unscrews so you can find out if fuel is going through the generator and you may be able to determine if the jet is blocked.

Yes it’s coming through the jet. I’d be pretty upset if the brand new jet that came with the generator was blocked.

You maybe have some fuel passing through the actual generator's jet, but maybe not enough.
Assuming you have sufficient clean fuel in the fount, check that your fount pressure is sufficient, give it say 30 or so pumps, and then see if you get a reasonable stream issuing from the jet.
Another thing to try is, remove the jet, let some pressurised fuel flush out the generator, use a pricker and push it through from the jet's backend to clear it then reinstall it on the generator and try again.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers

Well I tried all of that and it didn’t work. Then I got the brilliant idea to blow out the burner with an insane amount of compressed air. While spreading my mantles all over the garage, it also cleared the blockage. Whatever it was must’ve been obliterated with the mantles because I never saw it.

Good, looks Like it was block good and tight.
After the blockage clearance, have you lit the 220D yet?

Well, I did, but my stupid metal tie mantle fell off and it decided it didn’t want to work anymore and spew fluid out into the collar. I did get the other two that weren’t working, working. image.jpg
