This is my Coleman 242 from sometime around 1932. I can't read the date because of heavy galvanizing on the font bottom, but based on the handle it appears to be very early in production. Later 242's do not have a handle as "drooped" down as this one.

@AussiePete Pete, thanks! I use to have another 242 dated 1933, but I made the mistake of leaving my garage main door open when I wasn't in it and some bastard "walked" off with it! Can you imagine, and I live 150 feet off the main road! He had to go out of his way to steal it!
