    I got this with some lamps and are not sure what it is, or even if it's got anything to do with lamps

    Oiling bottle for a Lee-Enfield rifle, N°3Mk1 or N°3Mk1* . The later ones used on Mk4 & etc. were plastic mostly

    Thanks but I don't have a rifle anymore, so I Will keep it for something.

    You mean a No.1 Mk.3 or 3*. Earlier ones used them as well, but as it is found in Australia it is most likely from a No.1 Mk.3*.

    @Wim Collecting Lee Enfields was my first collecting bug, so I got to know quite a bit about them.

    If its brass and has marking on it, it might be worth looking into. I have an Enfield #1 mk3, and and an oil bottle like yours could be worth $20-$50 depending on manufacturer. A visit to the bay of evil might give you an idea of worth.
