I managed to by a Bialaddin lamp but one of the flame rods are missing as well as the glass. I have tried to find replacements on-line but nothing.

I'm hoping someone can help and point me in the right direction.

    Thanks

    Simon

    What is a “flame rod”?

This site has a huge amount of information. If you spend some time looking you’ll probably find what you’re after.

    Welcome,

I think it is one of the rods that attach the hood to the base. Normally there are 4 I only have 3.

I did try and search but nothing came up.

    Hi Paul.

They are painted and screwed in.

Yeah I guess I'm about 6 or 7 miles up the A5 and I've probably got a scrapper you can rob a rod from. If not there's likely a complete 300 cage lurking in the pile. You're welcome to come and have a rummage. ::Neil::

@Simon Morriss a BiAladdin 305 from 1953 / 54 which, after a little TLC, will serve you well. I'd try and get the cage sorted before splashing the cash on other things like a set of new seals available from our sponsor, the Fettle Box (link @ top right), you'll need the set for 1" filler caps.
Don't be put off by the colour, it's trick of the light, they are not metallic.
It looks like you need a wick for the preheater as well as a glass and you'll also need a mantle or two. Have a look at the Vapalux & Bialaddin section here www.base-camp.co.uk

    Henry.
