    Purchased from a seller in Malta. Day-Lite 500CP, Made in Western Germany.

    There are no marking on the base of the fount.

    @george thank you. You are right, it has led a sheltered life. It doesn't look like it has been fired much at all. I am wondering if the last owner realised it is a kero lantern, the fount has a strong smell of petrol.

    Yes, there is a good chance the previous owner put gasoline in it. Perhaps he thought gasoline would "clean" it out. Never know for sure...:-k

    You don't see many of those about, and in superb condition, great find.
    Will you be fireing it up? It has the look of a good dark killer!

    @James K Re dark killer it should be! Will get around to the money shot at some point - I'm lucky having a backlog at the moment.
