Just fished a 14 day maintenance outage and what better way to celebrate than with a lamp and a good drink. I rarely use this lamp as it was NIB when I found it and very rare to acquire in Canada.
It was working well when I took those pictures, towards the end of the night I had to keep cycling the pricker to keep it bright.
Carbon may be building up on the pricker wire and if that is the case, that will obstruct the fuel and air flow which will cause the light to dim.
No I did my best drunken pump it to death and the only thing that made a difference was cycling the control knob.
