Hi all, just registered as I have recently purchased a couple (or 3) used Pressure Lanterns to learn how to use and service them.
I got into lamps last year after buying a new Coleman for a camping trip which didn't happen due to the present situation, so Missus and I split a bit of the holiday money to treat ourselves to a few bits and bobs. I immediately headed to Ebay and grabbed a couple of Vaparlux lanterns which are working ok.
We are going away this weekend now the camp sites have reopened so I'll take a few pics.
I'm glad I found this forum and hopefully have an interesting hobby with these lamps as they really are a thing of beauty!

Show us some photos and we'll have a better idea what you've got. My guess is, these won't be your last two lanterns!

Hi and welcome to the forum. As Colin mentioned, there will no doubt be more lanterns. They can become addictive!

    Virus petrolensis.
Thankfully with near zero mortality rate.
And much more fun than intensive care

Thank You for the welcomes
I was at work earlier, and found out I had the winning Bid of £52 on a Wards Western Field 60-9523 Model. It is working fine apparently, but I will be looking for spares to keep by shortly.
I will post photos of my other lamps at the weekend while I'm away at the camp site. I also have 2 identical Willis and Bates M1 Lamps, a nice Vaparlux 320 (Bialaddin) Silver and Red, plus a Petromax HK500 in Chrome.
    Again thanks for the welcomes!
