Interesting! I have some images here of a Gold-Mohar lantern with the same model number. Do you think this table lamp is all original or has it perhaps been created by adding a stem between tank and burner of a lantern? Indian model nubers are some times confusing as what apears to be a model is sometimes just part of a brand name. Both Efar and Victory lanterns for instance use the numbers 608 609 and 222 but they are not models just part of the brand name. So I wonder if this company did the same thing or is it in fact the model number for a lantern which in this case has been converted? Hard to tell from a picture but with the lamp in hand it will be easier to make an opinion. ::Neil::

    Hi Neil,

the finish o the details looks very professional.

    But.... who knows.

The lantern comes from a fleatmarket at

    Praha,Slowakia.

My friend got there more Gold Mohar.

So I think it could be posssible an original one.

OK with the lamp in hand then I value the opinion of an experienced collector and if you think it looks OK then it probably is. If there were one or two more then that reinforces the opinion that it is correct and we can therefore assume the number is not a model but part of the brand name. Nice lamp to find. ::Neil::

    Hello Karli

Praha (Prague) is in the Czech Republic, not in Slovakia ;-)
