    Just when you think you’ll never get one of those. Up one comes. I pick this up on Sunday morning, it looks generally in pretty good shape. I’d like an idea of it’s age if anyone can help, it has all original glass etched Hendon, the lamp box is a one piece construction and the fount has a double ridge at the bottom. The biggest problem is there is no pump!
    So if anyone could help me out there I’d be very grateful.

    The wide pump (post-1937) is available somewhere on line. Was it The Base Camp?

    I can’t see a complete pump at the Base Camp, but it’s worth contacting them.

    What about the burner, or has that been removed before the picture?

    Yes sorry your right it had been removed before picture. Or rather not put back in, it came in a carrier bag with the vapouriser & cock. But no pump.

    Thanks for the suggestion Tony, I rang base camp today and they do have them, so that bit is sorted.

    Excellent!

    You should get the correct mantles from them as well.

    Well the pump finally arrived, I’ve sorted the seals and correct mantle. Given if a good clean & here are the money shots. 0A1FEA72-968C-4BD9-B12E-F925B9632481.jpeg 0C152ED4-A240-4689-9F1E-6C2CBA7A872F.jpeg

    Thanks guys, yes I am chuffed with this one, thanks for the help earlier in the post Tony.
    My scouts call me Tilley man, cause I’m always fiddling about with them, can’t wait to see their faces when this comes out at the next camp, when ever we can get back to scouting again

    Here are a few pictures of my FL6, with half brightness. A very powerful lamp 5000 CP. 15 meters from the lamp to the gate. Fl6 was used by the Civil Defense in Denmark.

    It's actually 5000 reflected candle-power. The burner itself is rated at 200cp...

    @Tom Pedersen

    That’s a very original looking FL6, I really like the accessory box!
