    These old lamps and the box with accessories have just come home to me. Optimus, Petromax Primus and more. There are a few hours of work before they light up. I will update with monney shot after I have repaired them.

    Yes Martin.
    You are right. The lamp on the right is a gas lamp which was used by KTAS. Copenhagen telephone limited company.
    Otherwise, it works the same way with the mantle
    I searched the internet to find more information about the lamp, but without success.

    @Tom Pedersen

    Thanks, that explains it, but it would still be nice to get it running.

    I was going to say the one on the right was a gas lamp, but Martin got in first. I have a Tilley BT26 version, which I have to admit is a great lamp, now I've got the regulator sorted. They seem to run at a higher pressure than the normal regulators.

    Those gas lamps were used a lot by KTAS, so there are quite a lot of them around Denmark (mainly in the Copenhagen area).

    Hey.
    As promised some pictures of the gas lamp in in operation. It's true as @malcolmrace writes that the lamp runs with a
    high pressure regulator. and for ROBBO55 here are pictures you would like to see.
