Took a load of scrap metal to my local scrap yard this morning and while unloading onto the pile I couldn't help but notice the familiar shape of a Bialaddin hood sticking out from a pile. After a quick dig I managed to retrieve it and while assessing it the yard boss came by, looking at it I asked if I could have it rather than it being crushed and his response was "I don't give a f*#k mate " so quickly it was deposited in my car. First picture shows it in as found condition and second shows after a quick wipe down with a rag, the only thing missing is a burner screw cap and even the glass is intact. This just shows there's loads of these still being thrown away on a daily basis. No all I have to do is convince my wife that I've had it for years and she can't remember me getting it.
@Keith Warby Excellent find! As you say, I wonder how many lamps have found their way to tips in recent weeks? Good on you for finding this one, I bet it’ll become one of your favourites!

Thanks for the tips about the lottery guys but unfortunately looks like I'm going back to work on Monday. Still at least I've had some luck this week
