Went and picked up the lamps today one glass has a crack in it, one control knob spins on the shaft. Both are stripped and soaking in Plusgas, dates are 162 and 362 there aulder than me Just... looking forward to cleaning and rebuilding them, I’ll need seal kits for both, and have to figure out how the pump valve comes out, I won’t force it but both are solid just now. Guessing these are 246A

Hi, The black control knobs just push on to the shaft, I think theres a embedded spring cilp that keeps them on so it may just need a good hard push to stop it spinning.

When you dis assemble the control cock the lower part unscrews to get at the mesh filter and rubber pip, but its not obvious that it unscrews. make sure you get the right pip for the lamp as there are 2 styles, round and square.

ebay has glass, get your seals from fetttlebox as some on ebay disintegrate when in contact with paraffin as I have found to my expense.

give your pump valve a good 48hr soak in plusgas, if not, a bit of gentle heat from a lighter and the tighten before loosen trick sometimes works

Have a look at the videos on you.tube by Broadlander, aka Jeremy here on the forum. Very informative and will take you through the process step by step.
    Good luck with your fettles!

Welcome from Queensland Australia @Jacky Young
They look in reasonably good condition and they will restore well.
Don’t forget to show us the money shots (the lantern’s first light after restoration)
    Happy fettling.
    Cheers
    Pete
