Started polishing an Optimus 1200.

    Satisfactory!Fairly new Optimus 1200. maybe 90s. wondering if Optimus painted their lamps at the end. This one had an old coat of varnish.

    All the polished brass lamps Optimus sold had a thin layer of varnish (or lacquer) on them. Usually it was that thin that it disappeared pretty quickly. Now that I think about it, I am not sure about the brass civil defence 200P lamps.

    ok thanks for the reply, I have renovated 200P from the civil defense and they do not seem to be painted.
