Identify this Tilley lamp please!

    Tilley X246A, you will be able to date it with the numbers underneath the tank.

    You should be aware that two lamps might be a breeding pair.....

    I would not call that a succes, looks like its not burning right.
    Did you open the valve all the way ? You can't "control" the light output, its on/off.

    Nice photo and very peaceful fishing spot but yep. Looks like the mantle is not bright enough, unless the photograph was digitally ‘enhanced’ on purpose. In any case you got it going, well done. Now watch out for the ‘fettling bug’. More dangerous or contagious than Covid.
