Thanks Henry. Where do you get your parts from? Is there anywhere in particular you look out for lanterns in the UK?

Looking good Simon, and well done.
The money shot shows that you completed a successful working restoration.
Now the next lantern .... :D/
    Cheers
    Pete

Thanks AussiePete, some Mother’s arrived today! Doesn’t seem to be too many Colemans in the UK Europe. But definitely looking to fine some more restorations!
    Thanks for the advice
    Simon

@Simon A Whilst I still look at lanterns, I very rarely look for them. After a little over 30 years, my collection has grown and my house has shrunk, considerably !
Spares come from a variety of places, online sources include web sites such as www.base-camp.co.uk specific sellers on eBay, eBay in general and for seals, The Fettlebox.
Other places - when things get back to normal - could be car boot sales, local auctions or the junk stalls at vintage rallies.
Overseas sites include STUGA-CABAÑA 2020: Der faire Internetshop mit über 20 Jahren Tradition. HYTTA.DE Petroleumlampen - Petroleum - Eisenwaren - Haushaltswaren www.oldcolemanparts.com/ and even German eBay (eBay.de)
